The Bi-Centenary Celebration

From April 2007 to April 2008, the Archdiocese of New York will celebrate its Bi-Centenary of history and faith. It will be a moment of remembrance, community building and historical awareness of all the good the Catholic Church has done in New York and the whole country. The Church of St. Joseph and St. Joachim is right at the center of this historical event, with the great contribution that Italians and Italo-Americans have offered to the Catholic Church in America. This Bi-Centenary celebration will provide us with a new vision toward the future and the contribution of the new immigrants to the Church of the Future.
